Banana bread (with dry figs and walnuts)

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
8 tbs unsalted butter, RT
2 large eggs
3 ripe bananas
2 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup walnuts
1/4 cup minced dry figs

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix the dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder) in a small bowl. Beat the sugar and butter with a fork until creamy. Add the eggs, one by one and mix slowly. In a separate bowl mash the bananas with a fork. Add the cinnamon, milk, walnuts and the dry figs. Add this mix to the creamy butter mix slowly. Add the flour little by little mixing in the same direction. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 min- 1hr. Serve wth your favorite spread (hazelnut spread?) or just a cold glass of milk. Cheers
